Avis want to keep in touch with you which is why we are on Twitter. We are using Twitter to offer you great discounts and exclusive deals, enabling you to be the first to know, and the first to enjoy the great offers.
We also use Twitter to keep you up to date on all our new innovations and products we launch, as well as keeping you up to date with what's happening in the travel and car rental industry.
One example of how we use Twitter to help our customers
We used Twitter during the travel disruption caused by the volcanic eruption to communicate to our customers.
We informed our customers about the cancellation and non-cancellation fees we waived, for those customer who could not collect their Avis rental. In addition we designed a 'Get Home Product.'
This product was designed to aid the traveller in get home, and reducing the costs associated to one way rentals within the UK. On top of that we offered special rates to further reduce the cost of a rental, this added great value and a hassle free way to get home.
