    Why do I need a child seat?

    Since September 2006, it is required by UK law that any child under 12 years old or under 135cms in height (approx 4ft 5ins) must use an appropriate child restraint - the reason for this is child safety!

    Useful advice for travelling with children

    • Ensure your child seat is fitted correctly before commencing your journey
    • Never place a rear-facing baby seat on a front passenger seat equipped with an airbag
    • Never leave your child alone inside the car
    • Always use the child-locks on rear doors of your vehicle
    • Always travel with adequate liquids for children - water, juices, etc.
    • Break up your journey by stopping every two hours
    • Prepare games/activities in advance to keep your children occupied
