The Pledge to Drive Safely is a campaign being run by Brake - the road safety charity - that aims to stop deaths and injuries on roads by improving the safety of drivers. Always lock the vehicle when leaving it unattended and don't leave valuables or belongings on display. If you do experience theft, report it to the Police and obtain a crime reference number or Police Report.
- Dial 999 to call the Police, Ambulance or Fire Service.
- Do not admit fault. Do not give money to anyone.
- Obtain vehicle and insurance details of any other party involved.
- Do not attempt to drive your car unless you believe it is safe to do so.
- Go to your nearest Avis location and we will help you fill in an Incident Report Form.
