At Avis, one of our customers has asked us for information on what they need to do to rent and collect a car with Avis at London Stansted Airport. We realised that if one of our customers is unsure then there must be others.

Paul Cadwell our Avis Station Leader at London Stansted Airport has written the post below on what you need to do to rent and collect a car from Avis London Stansted Airport.

If you are flying into London Stansted Airport and you wish to rent a car from Avis we are perfectly located for a quick get away, to continue with your journey.

At Avis we want to announce that as of 16:00 on 20th October we will be moving our London Mayfair rental station and relocating to two new locations in the area. These locations are Avis London Victoria and Avis Marble Arch.

For all customer that have made a reservation at London Mayfair and have not yet been contacted to move this reservation to another Avis rental location, we would advise you to call 08445 818181 to get your rental changed.

We also understand that you may wish to cancel your reservation rather than amend it. Your cancellation will take place free-of-charge and, if you have pre-paid for your reservation, a full refund will be issued. You just need to call 08445 818181 to let us know that you want to cancel your booking.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and we wish you pleasant travels.

Our fleet team here at Avis have been feeling blue recently and I for one am glad as I can proudly say we have introduced the Mercedes-Benz E220 BlueEFFICIENCY model to our Select Series range of cars!
