We actually have a Best Of British "top drives" coming up so I'll point a link towards your suggestion in it as well. @ Nicky, amazingly neither Cornish or Devon beaches were suggested by our rental staff which, on reflection, is quite a surprise. Are there any beaches in particular that you would suggest? A great Cornish spot is suggested in our top 5 hidden gems list. This will be published later in the week. @ Alan, great tip! There are loads of laybys along the road, which runs along the top of the cliffs. Probably my favourite spot is Whale Chine, about half way between Chale and Freshwater. The fairly famous Wight Mouse pub is also on this road. Follow the A3055 out of Ventnor. Alan.
