As of the 1st March 2010 Avis UK will be making changes to its payment policy whereby customers will no longer be able to use cash as the only method of payment to hire a car. Following a review of Avis’ processes and after assessing the risks associated with keeping cash at Avis branches, the company will no longer be accepting cash as an only method of payment.
