I&#039;m sorry to hear that you weren&#039;t told about the charge. We do request that all our Avis rental stations in and around London inform customers about this charge.

Could I ask which location you collected your car from? I will ensure your comments are passed onto them so that they know to mention it to customers.

		<description>It&#039;s a little bit annoying that as a foreigner, when you rent a car from Avis, they mention nothing about the congestion charge and where it applies. If you haven&#039;t happened to have read about it before leaving on holiday, nobody will tell you until you wind up with a large additional charge on your credit card bill. Avis should tell foreign car renters about the charge and how it works otherwise how are we supposed to know? To add insult to injury, they add a 40 pound admin fee.</description>
