Basically, the insurance will be null and void if we rent to anyone with less than a years experience on their licence. Also, for leisure rentals, if you are renting in the UK you need to be a minimum of 23 years old to rent with Avis. Again there is no insurance to cover anyone younger than this in the UK. I find this very frustrating that I have to provide my credit card details when the company is happy to pay for additional insurance etc so I am not charged or amounts blocked on my credit card.
