Holiday entitlement

Holiday entitlement
We offer holidays starting at 24 days a year and rising to 29 days dependent on length of service. Avis may, at its discretion, award an additional day’s holiday to all its employees, which is usually on a set day (normally around Christmas) for those who do not work in the rental stations.


Pension and Life cover

Pension and Life cover
Avis offers a pension scheme into which the Company pays 8% and employees pay 4%.  This scheme also offers life assurance and family benefits for greater peace of mind.  Further information will be available upon joining.


Car scheme

Avis Preferred
As an employee you are eligible to receive reduced rates of up to 25% on car rental. This also includes your friends and family renting cars. You can also enjoy the time saved by using the swift booking process

Holiday Cars
If you are an employee entitled to a company car, it’s good to know that you are entitled to a rental car of the equivalent level of your company car whilst you are abroad on holiday.

Long Service Cars
After you have completed one year of service with us, you can enjoy the benefit of 3 days free car rental. As your service with the company increases so does the number of free rental days!

Bonus Scheme
For our employees who are eligible, we provide a range of competitive bonus schemes which are based on company and personal performance. Eligibility for any of these schemes is dependent on your employment grade and details will be available at your interview.

Health Insurance
As an employee, you may be eligible to benefit from the Medical cover scheme which is provided by BUPA. For a small contribution you can also add your partner and/or family. Entitlement to this benefit is dependent on your employment grade.

Your CV or any other personal information about you which we obtain in the course of considering your suitability for employment will be stored and processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The data will be processed in relation to your application to work for Avis or Budget UK or for the inclusion in your personal records if you become an Avis or Budget UK employee and for no other purpose
