The Avis 2019 Travel Trends report[1] recently revealed the growing popularity among Europeans for staycations, with almost a quarter (24%) saying they prefer to stay in their home country when taking a holiday. The report also showed that beach holidays were voted the second most popular short break across Europe (25%).
This rise in popularity, coupled with a soar in temperature, means that 2019 could be the perfect year to plan a summer road trip with friends and family to discover some of the UK’s most untouched and secret beaches.
