Personal Accident Insurance Notice

As of 28 March 2024, Avis will no longer sell the Personal Accident Insurance and Super Personal Accident Insurance policies in the UK.  Note that existing customers who have purchased this policy as part of their rental will still be covered for the duration of their rental. We are currently in the process of sourcing an alternative supplier and we will inform customers in due course.     


Before, on and after 31 March 2024 

Receive and re-direct all customer queries, complaints and claims to AIG as follows:

 

Claims (other than Medical Assistance and Rescue)

For all claims other than Medical Assistance and Rescue, claimants should please contact +44 345 6029429 (lines are open 9.15am to 5pm Monday to Friday excluding UK Bank Holidays) and state that they are renting an AvisBudget vehicle.  

 

Claimants can also email claimsuk@aig.com or write to American International Group UK Limited.  The AIG Building, 2-8 Altyre Road, Croydon CR9 2LG, United Kingdom.

Queries and complaints to be directed as set out below.  When contacting AIG, the Policy/Claim Number and the name of the Policyholder/Insured Person should be provided to help AIG deal with comments quickly.
