Yolanda Zappaterra is a writer, born in Wales to Italian parents. Her wanderlust was inevitable from an early age, brought on by hair-raising childhood road trips across the Italian Alps.
Now living in London, she spends her time writing about travel, architecture, and food. When not putting pen to paper (or finger to keyboard), she’s taking long urban walks or catching a film at the cinema. That is, if she can tear herself away from creating ‘cereal faces’ for her Instagram account! Yolanda’s ever-expanding travel wish-list currently includes Majorca, Sri Lanka, and Costa Rica.
A writer of exceptional variety, she’s taken our readers from the summerhouses of the Bosphorus to Europe’s quirkiest festival. Her latest book, Skylines: A Journey through 50 Skylines of the World’s Greatest Cities, is out now.
