Most Common Questions


I made a rental but it hasn’t appeared in my account – what should I do?
Please be aware that your rental will only be added to your Preferred account once it has been completed.

You can notify us of a missing booking through your Avis Preferred account. Sign in to your online account (via the 'Sign in' link in the top right hand corner of this page) and submit a 'Retro Claim'. Once submitted, we will check the booking and, if all is correct, will add it to your loyalty status.

* Please note you can only add rentals that have taken place within the last 6 months.


I haven't received my voucher by email?
Please check you have opted-in to receive email communications from Avis. If you have opted-out, you will not receive your voucher. Secondly, please check your spam / junk folder.

If you still haven't received your voucher, please login to your online account (via the 'Sign in' link in the top right hand corner of this page) and send a request via the 'Contact Us' section.


How can I update my personal, credit card or preference details?
Members can manage the below information via their online profile. Simply click the 'Sign in' link in the top right hand corner of this page to:

  • Amend personal and contact details.
  • Update credit card details.
  • Update opt in/out communication settings and rental preferences.
  • Request a new password.
  • View booking history, benefits, latest offers and the Preferred Terms and Conditions.
