Avis Preferred - the quickest and easiest way to rent - we promise to get you your keys in under 3 minutes!

Simply sign-up for a FREE Avis Preferred membership. All you will need to do is show us your driving licence, collect your keys and go!

If it takes longer than 3 minutes, we’ll give you a £20 John Lewis voucher...That’s the Avis promise!
 

How the Avis Preferred 3 minute promise works

  • Get a ticket from machine or start a stopwatch and go to counter

  • Get your keys and rental agreement in under 3 minutes

  • Or get a John Lewis voucher worth £20 if you don't


The 3 minute promise is currently available at nearly 500 locations across Europe; including 33 in the UK.

Terms of the 3 Minute Promise

  • Must be an Avis Preferred member, with an advanced reservation (4 hours).
  • Must have an up-to-date Avis Preferred profile.
  • Mailed retail gift voucher (retailer selected at Avis discretion) equivalent voucher in Euros.
  • Avis voucher to the value advertised.
  • Available at participating locations only.
  • Exclusions: Reservations made on behalf of the customer by a third party agent, any changes to the reservation requiring a re-issue of the rental agreement.
