Car rental branch information
Wherever your flight arrives, it’s just a short walk to our car hire station. If you touch down in Terminal 1, come and find us in the Arrivals hall. If you arrive in Terminal 2, we’re in the multi-storey car park. From the airport, it’s just 6 miles into the city centre. You’re also well situated for exploring the rest of this beautifully green country.
Welcome to the small capital with the big personality. Designated UNESCO City of Literature, sometimes it feels like one long literary and cultural festival. There are also castles, cathedrals and of course pubs. All waiting to be washed down with a pint of Guinness.
Situated between the mountains and the sea, you’re just a short drive away from some delightful coastal towns and villages. The Dublin Mountains are your reward for journeying that little bit further. An hour’s drive south takes you to County Wicklow, otherwise known as the Garden of Ireland.
Services and optional extras with your car rental
Avis Preferred: As a member of Avis Preferred, all you need to do is show us your driving licence and you can collect your keys and go. Ask us about the other exclusive benefits of our free loyalty scheme. You can even join the programme online!
Out-of-hours return: Our airport branch opens early and closes late. But if you do need to drop off your car outside of our normal opening hours, just let us know in advance.
Breakdown assistance: In the unlikely event of an accident or breakdown, please call the Avis Roadside Assistance number. Calls are charged at local rates wherever you are in Ireland.
Optional extras
Child seats: Under Irish law, babies and children may only travel in a car if they are seated in the correct restraint. We can supply the appropriate child seats and boosters. Just let us know when you make your booking.
Satellite navigation: Wherever you are going, GPS will get you there with more time to spare. We provide the latest portable satellite navigation systems to take as much stress out of your journey as possible.
