- Take the main exit from arrival hall, walk left and following signs for 'Car Rental Village' Bus Stop.
- The Bus Stop is situated at the corner of the Bus Parking Lanes.
- The Bus to the Car Rental Village takes approx. 5 mins.
Terminal 2
- Head out of the main Terminal exit, the bus stop for the car rental village is directly opposite.
- Buses run every 10mins, taking approx. 10 mins to reach the Car Rental Village.
Terminal 3
- Head out of the arrivals area, the bus stop to the car rental village is situated opposite the multistory car park -
- Underneath the walkway from the terminal to the car park.
- The Bus to the car rental village, runs every 10 mins and takes approx 2-3 mins to reach the car rental village.

From the airport, you’re just a 20-minute drive from the city itself. Take the M56 northbound and then exit at junction 3A onto the A5103, following signs for the city centre.

Manchester Airport began life in 1911 and was served by 6 different airfields during the first 20 years. Construction began on the present Manchester Airport in 1935 and was completed 3 years later in 1938.
The RAF took control of the airport during World War II and it was used as a production and repair centre for military aircraft. It was also used as a training ground for parachutists. After the war ended the airport underwent a lot of development that gradually increased its size. Its 3rd terminal was opened in 1989 by Diana, Princess of Wales. Developments have since continued to be made which have seen it expand to its present size.
