For a gentler climb, jump on the Belevedere Ski Lift as far as the Col dei Rossi, an area crisscrossed with hiking trails. Head back to town and relax at the Dolaondes Water Park with its pools and water slides. Then enjoy a stroll through Canazei’s narrow streets and refuel with delicious local mountain food at one of the many cafes and restaurants the line the town’s squares.

Mazzin
A short distance away from Canazei higher up the Val di Fassa you’ll discover Mazzin, the smallest village in the valley. Stop off at the castle in the village and then drive on towards Lake Antermoia, a spectacular glacial lake in the Catinaccio Massif.
Gardena and Sella Passes
A road trip driving the region’s sensational mountain passes is a summertime treat for driving enthusiasts. The Gardena Pass is a high mountain pass connecting Val Gardena with the Val Badia (Alta Badia) and offering magnificent views. The Gardena Pass is a drive of around 40min from Canazei. Alternatively drive northwest of Canazei towards the famous Sella Pass, a trip that will take you around 24 hairpin bends.
