One of Ibiza’s larger boutique hotels, the Mirador de Dalt Vila is a converted nineteenth century family home, and it feels a million miles away from the chain hotels which dot the island’s busiest beaches. It can be found in Ibiza town’s oldest part, and the views of the historic port are breathtaking. No expense has been spared on the 12 rooms, which contain seven types of marble. The Grand Suite is the most spectacular – the furnishings were personally chosen by the Fajarnés family, who owns the hotel.
