Bus - From Leeds City take the A1 bus from the bus station, thi will take 35 mintues.

Taxi/Uber - located around the city centre at a reasonable price. 

Traveling from Harrogate. From Harrogate take the the A2 bus straight to the airport, the journey will take around 30 minutes.

Traveling from Yorkshire. From the city centre take the A1 bus which will take you directly to Leeds bus station, the journey will take around 35 minutes.

Leeds and Bradford are only a 30-minute drive from the airport, making it entirely possible for you to visit both during your road trip.

Bradford’s Saltaire Village offers you the opportunity to stroll through its streets, enjoying beautiful examples of 19th-century, Italian-style architecture. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Saltaire provides a fascinating window into the industrial Victorian era.

One of Bradford’s more contemporary points of interest is the National Media Museum. Drive along the A660 for about 25 minutes and you’ll reach Leeds – the UK’s third largest city. An old mill town, Leeds is now a hive of activity boasting a wealth of museums, restaurants, bars and shops. The city is also home to Roundhay Park – one of the largest urban parks in Europe. This haven of tranquillity spans over 700 acres and houses an array of wildlife, including woodpeckers, swans, foxes and deer. York

Take an hour’s drive along the A658 and A59 from Leeds Bradford International Airport and you’ll arrive in York. The city’s ancient architecture has stood the test of time, with walls from the 13th century still encircling the city’s medieval centre. Inside is a labyrinth of streets where you’ll discover traditional pubs, boutiques, restaurants, cafes and bars. Make your way to York Minster – an immense gothic cathedral – to admire a true architectural masterpiece.

Blackpool

Head west away from Leeds Bradford International Airport (via the A65) for just under two hours and you’ll arrive in Blackpool – one of Britain’s most popular seaside resorts. Stop off at any of Blackpool’s three piers to stroll along the seaside and enjoy the panoramic view of the surrounding areas from the top of Blackpool Tower. Tuck into some fresh fish and chips and pick up a few souvenirs from the shops along the seafront while you’re here.
