In Austria, please drive on the right side of the road.
Country driving laws
- Do not use the horn around Vienna and near hospitals, or you may be fined
- Parking vouchers are required in many cities. These can be bought from a tabak, banks, hotels and some petrol stations
- Do not overtake buses when the yellow lights are flashing
- You must always carry a warning triangle, first-aid kit and reflective jacket in the car
